Testing MSI NVidia GeForce 760 in Ubuntu Linux and Windows
MSI NVidia GeForce 760 Twin Frozr Gaming is one of the best game video system. It’s advantages is noiseless cool system and hight performance. In this overview I’ll test it in Windows and Ubuntu Linux 12.04.

Options are standard: cd dick, instruction, VGA adapter, power adapter.

Video card has two 139 мм fan with dynamic speed regulation and maximum rotation rate 1500 rpm. Also it has msi designed aluminium radiator with five thermal tubes for best cooling. Card has two DVI and two HDMI outputs.

Programs and testing conditions.
Testing was performed at 1920x1200 resolution at maximum graphic level in:- Battlefield 4 single
- Battlefield 4 multiplayer 32x32
- Company of Heroes 2 (benchmark).
- Metro 2033 Last Light
Battlefield 4
Testing was performed at Ultra graphic level.Game is going smoothly. In single minimum fps 32, average 36. In multilayer the result is better - minimum fps 50, average 52 - 55.

Testing was performed at maximum Very Hight graphic level by internal benchmark. Minimum fps 19, average 21. |  |

Metro 2033 Last Light.
Testing was performed at maximum Very Hight graphic level with SSAA 4x and maximum tessellation on resolution 1920х1200. Minimum fps 15, average 17. After disabling SSAA fps grows to 48-52. |  |

Ubuntu Linux testing.
В связи с набирающей популярность ОС Linux как игровой платформы, я протестирую её графические возможности на современных играх.Due to the increasingly popular of Linux operating system as a gaming platform, I will test MSI NVidia GeForce 760 on the modern games in Ubuntu.
Software:
- System: Ubuntu 12.04 LTE 64 bit
- Driver: NVIDIA GeForce 319 (драйвер поставился при установке и не менялся)
Programs and testing conditions.
Testing was performed at 1920x1200 resolution at maximum graphic level in:- Phoronix Test Suite: unigine-heaven benchmark
- Metro 2033 Last Light

GeForce 760 was good in this test. Minimum fps was 28. |  |

Metro 2033 Last Light.
Today Metro 2033 game was released on Ubuntu Linux platform. On the present day it is the most heavy game for this platform. Testing was performed at maximum Very Hight graphic level. Minimum fps 30, average 45.Video settings screen in Linux version has only scroll so you didn’t know what video feature game has. According to fps in Linux and Windows I think Linux version of Metro 2033 has not some graphic features which exist in windows version.
Game is stable. I noticed a bug with screen shot capturing. Game is crashed by pressing f12 button. Looks like it is a Steam bug or game bug.

Conclusions.
Video card works very well on both platforms in today's games. Game worked steadily, without glitches and crashes. However, maximum anti-aliasing and tessellation are too heavy settings for this graphics card.As for the noise this MSI NVidia GeForce 760 Twin Frozr is almost noiseless. Under load it is a bit noisy, but in headphones it’s almost unheard of.
